In high school, he was a triple threat All-Catholic. He dated only the dreamiest babes. He wore moccasins.

But after college, he disappeared.

Poof.  Gone.

Some say he found his way to the Pacific Island of Lanai where the natives embraced him as a Shaman. We like to think of him as Brando in Apocalypse Now but without the gut and a trademark full head of jet black hair.

It was a simple message sent by Vinny Jowdy; that of a stiff shoulder into the breast bone of Scotty Dunn that stood Dunn up at the blueline and nearly provoked fisticuffs which told the assembled crowd that this Dick Nolan Classic was different.

Jowdy's message - Team Mossette was done losing to Team Newhouse.

And so it played out. Team Mossette ended a two year long losing streak as Steve Zafuto, 2012 MVP tallied twice for the White squad. Zafuto will wear the coveted Benny Critelli MVP Duffy jacket year round to celebrate his stellar play. Tallying also for White was John De Rubes and one of the Rose brother - either Jason or Joel - no one is exactly sure which one.

Scotty Dunn scored twice for Red, exposing White captain Brian Schiavi in a total undressing of the fiery captain on Dunn's first score.
